Freedom Parents:

\r\n

Freedom Elementary is so excited to be participating once again in the LPS Foundation Change Challenge!!!

\r\n

The LPS Foundation is a very important partner to teachers throughout Lawton Public Schools. Each year the foundation does several fundraisers to raise money to fund grants for teachers. In November of 2018, the LPS Foundation gave out over $100,000 in grants to teachers. Freedom Elementary teachers received over $10,000 for classroom supplies and educational items. Unfortunately, they were not able to fund all of the submitted requests. These grants are vital to making sure that teachers have what they need to make their classrooms a fun and educational place to be each day.

The change challenge will run from Monday, January 14th through Friday, January 18th.

\r\n

It’s simple, just send in your loose change!!! Last year our goal was to average a $1.00 for every BODY in the building which would be $1,400.00. We not only met that goal but went over!!! This year our goal is to average $2.00 per BODY in our building and collect $2,800.00! You can send in change, bills, and even checks made payable to the LPS Foundation.

\r\n

This year we will have pizza parties for the primary class (Pre K-2nd grade) and the intermediate class (3rd-5th grade) with the largest amount of money collected!!!

\r\n

Please support this amazing organization by donating your loose change or dollar bills to such a great cause!!!

Thank you!!!
