*Members meet in the cafeteria 7th hour once a month on the 2nd Wednesday. Watch for the brightly colored signs in the stairway to signal upcoming meetings.

The NHS Pledge

I pledge myself to uphold the high purpose of National Honor Society.

I will be true to the principles for which it stands.

I will be loyal to my school and will maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

I will always seek the light of truth, always hold scholarly habits, and always engage in worthy service.

I will lead forward in all things that advance the welfare of school, community, and country.

	To join NHS as a sophomore you must have earned a 3.5 GPA in the 1st semester of your sophomore year.
	Induction happens after the 1st Semester of your Sophomore year.
	If you have been inducted after 2005 you must have 20 hours of community service.
