The National Honor Society's Purpose:
National Honor Society is a recognition program for high school students in grades 9-12 in the United States and in several other countries. NHS honors those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. To be a member of this group the student must obtain a GPA of 3.4 and above.
